Rainbow Silks 2005
In May of 2004 I travelled to England to visit with my family, at the same time I was fortunate enough to be able to teach two workshops, one for the Midlands branch of the British Polymer clay guild and one for a wonderful store in the town of Great Missenden called Rainbow Silks. My sister lives in the village of Flitton, which is about a 2-hour drive away. We had a lovely drive down to Great Missenden and I was totally enchanted by the scenery and the lovely English villages along the way.
The class had 5 folk in it and we had a great time creating millefiori and working with Pearlex and polymer clay.
Caroline Munns at Rainbow Silks has a wonderful range of fibres and craft items. There is an old stable complex at the back of her shop that she uses for classes and it is well set up for all of the classes she has available for her clients.
A wonderful opportunity and I would like to thank Caroline for having me as a guest tutor and look forward to returning in 2007.
